Denise King is the Vice President, Market Analysis, Planning and Support for Amirix Systems Inc. Amirix, through its Vemco line of products, is the world leader in the supply of acoustic transmitters and receivers used by Marine Biologists the world over to study behavior and migration of aquatic animals.
She joined Amirix in 1993 and has held a variety of engineering and management roles and currently serves as a member of the Amirix senior management team.
Denise received Bachelor of Science (1987), Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (1990) and Masters of Applied Science (1993) degrees from Dalhousie University. She resides in Halifax with her husband Don and two children, Max and Maya.
