Jim Eisenhauer

Jim graduated from Dalhousie University in 1972 with a BSc and from Nova Scotia Technical College in 1974 with a BEng, Industrial (with distinction). He began his career in 1974 as a student with Clarkson Gordon (now Ernst & Young LLP) and received his CA designation in 1977 and was awarded the profession’s highest designation of FCA in 2005. In 1978 Jim joined his family’s business -- and became Manager of the company’s new Newfoundland Division. In 1982, he returned home and was appointed President of ABCO Industries Limited in 1984. Jim is also founding President of ABCO Group Limited (1987), West Nova Fuels Limited (1987) and Nova Wood Products Limited (1992).

Jim is a Director of Stelia Aerospace North America Inc. (formerly Composites Atlantic Limited), Lunenburg, NS and Emera Inc., Halifax, NS and member of the Advisory Board of Atlantic Industries Limited (current Chair of the Audit Committee), Sackville, NB.

Jim has been involved in many volunteer activities over the years. In service to his Province these activities have including Past Director and Chair of Nova Scotia Business Inc. and Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning and past Director of Innovacorp and Nova Scotia Research Foundation. Jim is a past Governor of APEC. He is currently a founding Director and Chair of St. John’s Heritage Foundation Incorporated and a founding Director (past Chair) Lunenburg Waterfront Association Inc.
