This favourite Luneburg waterfront destination is getting ready to open the doors for a new season in May.
2018 highlights include:
Annual Open House: June 9 & 10. This is a great time to introduce or re-familiarize yourself, family members, friends and visitors to this wonderful facility. Stroll the beautiful waterfront, enjoy entertainment and immerse yourself in local culture by taking in amazing exhibits, informative yet animated interpretation of life in a fishing community on three floors of galleries. Admission is free both days.
80th Anniversary of the Theresa E. Connor: Special Birthday Celebrations July 21 & 22. Special daily programing has been created around this momentous event culminating in the birthday celebrations including entertainment, contests, skits, cake and more!
Boxwood Ceilidh: July 27. Music and dancing by the water and under the stars. Free for all to attend.
Acadian Days Celebration: August 1, Noon – 5 pm. A celebration of Acadian culture through authentic music, stories and anecdotes that will take place on the waterfront.
Yuletide in Lunenburg: November. Join in for an evening of Community Christmas Spirit including Christmas caroling, marshmallow roast, rides and special treats for the kids, lighting of the vessels and memorial trees, and more. The festivities end with a spectacular fireworks presentation.
