Public Berthing

Daytime berthing is FREE with your registered Berthing Pass (must have pass to register). Visit our Marina Toolkit for more information about free daytime berthing and overnight berthing.

Overnight Berthing

We offer competitive rates on overnight berthing.
Vessels 10.6 m (35 ft.) or less:  $20 + HST/night
Vessels greater than 10.6 m (35 ft.):  $1 + HST/ft.

Waterfront Development is working with Nova Scotia company Swell Advantage who will coordinate overnight bookings at the Bedford Waterfront Marina this fall, as a pilot project. There is no fee to use the App or book online or by phone (regular overnight berthing rates apply.) Click the “Book Now” button below to book your slip for overnight stays.

Terms & Conditions:
  • Pass must be clearly displayed on a window or windshield in order to be visible by WDC marina staff.
  • Free Daytime Berthing Pass entitles your vessel to short term visitation to the Halifax, McNabs Island, Bedford and Lunenburg public berth locations.
  • The pass does not entitle overnight berthing. Overnight berths are available at a reasonable rate. Please contact the marina office to make a reservation.
  • Berths marked as 'Reserved' are not available for daytime berthing.
  • WDC reserves the right to reduce availability of berth space as required by special events (i.e. Tall Ships).
  • Free Daytime Berthing Pass is restricted to non commercial, recreational vessels.
