Welcome to Lunenburg’s historic waterfront. Our picturesque waterfront is home to tall ships, schooners, dories, fishing vessels and floating docks. Our marine season generally runs from May to October.
We’re a proud member of the US Superyacht Association and ready to welcome you to our waters.

Daytime berthing is FREE with your registered Berthing Pass (must have pass to register). Visit our Marina Toolkit for more information about free daytime berthing and overnight berthing fees.

Visiting Ship Program
As part of our Visiting Ship Program, ships and crew from around the world visit our waterfronts in Halifax, Bedford and Lunenburg. Through this program, the public has an opportunity to learn more about the vessel and often even take advantage of free public boardings. Past visits have included STS Lord Nelson (UK), MV Planet Solar (Switzerland), Sedna IV (Canada), and Tall Ship Esmeralda (Chile). Parking is located along the streets and at Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic.
Please inquire with our Marina Office for available berths with power and applicable rates.
General web cam security is provided along the Lunenburg waterfront.
Waste and recycling locations are available for visiting vessels.
Water is available for overnight visiting vessels at select locations. Please inquire with our Marina Office.
