Important Information for Ticket Holders:
Thank you for participating in the Tall Ships Festival Georges Island Party presented by Captain Morgan!
With the majestic Tall Ships docked along the Halifax waterfront and Hey Rosetta! performing to a capacity crowd at the first ever live concert on Georges Island…this is going to be an event to remember for only a couple thousand lucky fans and you are one of them!
As this is the first time this has been attempted on Georges Island we ask for your understanding with some of the logistical challenges associated with transporting 2,500 people both on and off Georges Island for this great show.
We have developed a system for timed travel on a first come, first served basis. There will be 350 seats available every 30 minutes from 11 am to travel to Georges Island and then 350 seats are available every 30 minutes starting at 4pm to depart Georges Island.
Please click on this link to reserve your time slot for transportation to the island and subsequently a time for transportation from the island. When you have completed booking your time slots you will then receive an email receipt similar to your electronic ticket, that will have a bar-code stating your selected time. You MUST bring both the transportation receipts and your ticket receipt with you as we will be scanning you r ticket prior to boarding the vessels to and from Georges Island. The vessels depart Halifax from the South Battery Pier (former Heli-pad) located directly in front of The Bicycle Thief restaurant at Bishop’s Landing. Plan to arrive 5 minutes prior to your designated time on Saturday, July 21. You will be allowed onto the pier only during your selected time slot so please only arrive at the start of your selected time.
Please note that you remain on Georges Island until your scheduled departure time. (in the case of an emergency, shuttle boats will be running throughout the course of the event).
